| Liane Ingham, the owner and operator of A Private Affaire, has a passion for
excellence and an eye for detail - it is this passion and discerning perspective
that inspired her to open her own catering company. For the past 11 years, A
Private Affaire has been serving a highly sophisticated Bay Area clientele with
creative and inspired menu offerings. We take pride in the fact that we work
with each and every client to create customized events that are a reflection of
their own personal vision. From cuisine to décor and everything in between, you

Our chefs work to incorporate the latest trends in local cuisine and use only
the finest and freshest ingredients - from picking herbs and produce at the
local farmer's markets to using locally grown meats and dairy products, we
produce the finest and most creative cuisine for each event. We incorporate the
wide variety of ethnic ingredients that are available to us in the bay area and
we specialize in preparing only the freshest menus from ocean cuisine to
vegetarian, pan asian and southern American comfort foods. Each and every event
menu is a reflection of what you, the client, crave!
Liane Ingham - Chef/Owner
Liane Ingham has been a chef for the past 20 years. Born and raised in
Europe, Liane has a wealth of experience that she draws from when designing
world-class customized menus for each event. She has apprenticed under many
renowned chefs from Europe, not to mention, locally with Steve Simmons and Joey
Altman and Thomas Fife of Tavern on the Green in New York.
Liane also owned and operated the famous Café Tululah in Berkeley from 1997
until 2004. During café Tululah's successful 7-year run - Liane won numerous
awards and accolades for her inspired cuisine.
